Dalton author to host SCREAM TV (September 21, 2001)

DON MILLS, Ont. — Edo van Belkom, the acclaimed author of Truck News’ fictional serial Mark Dalton Owner/Operator, has been hired as an on-air host at SCREAM, Canada’s new all-horror channel.

SCREAM is one of the new digital television channels, which debuted across the country on Sept. 7. Van Belkom hosts the “Post Mortem” segment, airing Monday through Thursday at midnight and 4 a.m.

Each film features a two-minute introduction and wrap-up by van Belkom, who draws from his vast knowledge of all things horrific and scary to talk about the highlights and lowlights of that evening’s feature.
